La Taberna del Alabardero is located in Madrid de los Austrias, near the Royal Theater. It is the first of the Tabernas of the Lezama Group. Opened in 1974, its walls bear witness to the political and cultural panorama that has taken place since the Spanish transition to the present day.
The Taberna del Alabardero of Madrid along with Chef Javier Romero offers guests a traditional Basque cuisine based on seasonal and quality products. It also has its own garden in Aranjuez from where vegetables are collected every day, which then form part of the most exquisite dishes on the menu.
